Personally I think the best mobile games are ones that very easy to pick up or put away at a moments notice, and can fill a short amount of time without feeling like you have to get to a certain checkpoint in order to stop or something. BUT I also think it's fair to say that there is a place for mobile gaming and that mobile games are not inherently bad. predatory game design, "pay to win" schemes, bucketloads of shovelware, and a control interface that many would consider inferior to any console or computer. And I also think it's fair to say that there are actually plenty of valid reasons to dislike mobile games. I think it is fair to say that among people who play a lot of games there is sometimes a negative perception of "mobile" (ios or android) games.
